It launches straight into substance, without making you fill out a dozen reflective prompts to pump you up. I find that the format keeps you honed in on your potential goals and values through the year, while managing the daily things that make you feel like you're progressing towards the big things. The quarterly format helps lower the rollover requirements of a monthly planner or the overwhelm of a yearly planner. I have loved using this journal as my mind's home base, it has even become an inspiration to start journaling a little bit each day which I have not done for many years. Ramona & Ruth's clear eye for detail and utilitarianism has brought up a love of stationary I didn't know I had, and I look forward to trying additional products.
