POSITION: Production Assistant

STATUS: Part-time employee

COMMITMENT: 15-25 hours/week; flexible scheduling available Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with weekly hours based on production needs.

LOCATION: In-person

STARTING PAY: $15/hour

OVERVIEW OF POSITION: 

We're seeking a part-time Production Assistant to join our team. This position helps to quality check and assemble products for inventory and order fulfillment. Applicants should be highly detail-oriented, able to stand for long periods, and able to move at a quick pace. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, product quality inspection, product packaging, binding, and assembling products in a fast paced environment. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for detail and a hands-on approach to completing tasks effectively. The ideal candidate should be interested in optimizing production processes while working independently and effectively. No experience required. We will train on all processes. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Package and Assemble Products: Fold and sleeve greeting cards, package notepads, notebooks, and other desk items.
• Quality Control: Inspect each product to ensure it meets our high-quality standards.
• Process Optimization: Aim to reduce errors and enhance production accuracy.
• Studio Organization: Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring efficiency in daily operations.
• Inventory Management: Assist with counting and documenting product inventory and putting items away.
• Meet Production Goals: Ensure tasks are completed efficiently to maintain target assembly times.
